Jesus says "I AM Enough," in every situation we face. He is our All-Sufficiency- our Everything. Do we really take this truth to heart, and rest contently in His unfailing love even when our world is shaken?
Hebrews 13:5 says "Be content with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave, nor will I ever forsake you."
Then it the next vers it says " So we take confort and are encouraged to boldly say, The Lord is My Helper, I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Therefore, our Contentment and Peace come from Jesus the Anchor of our soul, Who assures us that He Himself will be with us always. He is indeed enough.

though circumstances may be tough, lift up your eyes, I AM Enough!'

Few really understand what it means to surrender. Actually the word "Surrender" can't be found in a Strong's Concordance. You will find words like "Yield" and "Submit" that convey the meaning of "Surrender" within the Scripture instead. Surrender means to yield possession of or power over to another. To "yield" means to present or to offer; to give, to "hand over control."

Therefore, The question that begs asking everyday is who is in control of your life? You or God? We must surrender our self-sufficiency and all our prideful motives that in essence say

"look at me," and become desperately dependant on God. Then our lives and actions will speak loudly; "look at God, the Greater One who lives inside me!"

i lay my will upon Your shelf
wanting, longing to be filled

with Your Spirit with Your will
take way the things that bind

as Your Word renews my mind
in Your hands i want to stay

The goal may be the same- to remind you of your committment to stay pure before God in your relationships. But it goes beyond simply waiting to have sex until marriage. It means offering your entire being as a living sacrifice unto the One you love- for this is true Worship.
Romans 12:1-2 says to present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God for this is true Worship.

How do we do that? It's in the next verse.

"Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind..."
We must renew our mind with God's Word.
